Resolutions

Resolutions. Now it's just funny. I think I have had this exact post for the last three years. I will be better at this...for posterity's sake. This year, I have decided to start small. The only thing I have on the list for January is: hmm... No, I'm not going to say it out loud. I'll jinx myself. If I do accomplish it, I'll just tell you! I like this way.

Tonight I'm feeling a bit tender. Homesick. Homesick for the familiar. We've lived in this house for a year now and I love it, but I guess I'm looking for someone who knows me. Knows what I like. When you're a mom of a gaggle of kiddies, many times it's hard to take time for friendships. Life moves at such a lightning speed, that some nights when it slows down, you look around and feel alone.

Now aren't you glad you're reading? :)

Night night. I think a good night's sleep always makes things look brighter. (and I will be checking off one of those resolutions...)

Hi there old friend! I have been hoping for a post from you! I wish we lived across the street, for lotsof reasons, but mostly so we could talk about our gaggles as we fold our laundry, and dream of wonderful dinner menus our families would all love. Call me sometime, I would love to chat again.

I love to read your posts because I admire your gaggle of kiddos! I sure hope one of those resolutions is more posting because I know I love to hear your "voice"! You are a familiar one to me!!! Sleep well!

So happy to see you post! I keep your Christmas letter where I can read and re-read the paragraph about you. I love your cheerful perspective on a crazy life -- yours & mine & all other busy, busy moms. And yes, I think all of us busy mothers get that lonely feeling. You are fantastic!!!

Dear one, I've missed you and your family! I would love to chat with you even if its only 2 minutes and you have to hang up to rescue Buzz Lightyear from peril or to kiss a booboo or fold the 2000th pair of socks for the 300th time :) We ALL feel lonely sometimes-then we remember that we are NEVER alone. HE is always with us-cheering us on to be righteous. You're a sweet friend and I think of you and your kindness so often.
