Me, in the meantime

It's been so long, I didn't remember how to access this site. sad.
But, as you can see, it's been a little mayhem-like around these parts.
Lots of children.  Lots of chaos.
And, just because we obviously can't get enough chaos in our lives, we got a new doggie last week...Maude.  She's actually the calmest member of our family so far (except for maybe Baby Ben).

We are doing fabulously.  Life is grand.
My husband just purchased a fancy new phone for me last week because my archaic phone "from the dinosaur ages" (direct quote from my brother-in-law) that has served me well for quite some time was submerged in water.  The "story" I heard was that it was right next to my girl's bathroom sink and "it just fell in."  Just like that.

So, I'm hoping that I can consequently take more pictures of higher quality. And be more connected.  My four younger children's posterity are depending on this. :)

Fall is here. School is in session.  I have pumpkin chocolate chip cookies on the menu for this week (This just may be for the main course. I'm pretty sure I won't have any protests...except from maybe my active conscience).

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

Tschuess...

Welcome back!! I love the pictures! Your kiddos are so cute, and baby Ben...I haven't seen him yet, so it was fun to see him on your hip as you were busy in the kitchen. We are down to only 4 at home, Mandy was married in May and Sarah is off for her sophomore year at the Y. This is my first year of not having a child in elementary school in 23 years. Next year John will begin, so we start over. Having kids at 45 does that :). Life is changing for us, not sure if I like it. You sound happy and full of life and love. Do you Facebook? I don't blog, but I do facebook and you can see pics of the family there if you want. Thanks for the update!

I always get so excited to see something new from you! More! I need more of my Alexis fix - I want to see your kids and what you guys are up to. And I love the picture...that's one of those that makes me thing "a picture is worth a thousand words". But I would still like to hear those thousand words :)
